Hi I'm Rick, I have lived in the South Downs for 10 years after building our home here in East Marden with my wife Kathy and our black lab Rufus.
It all started with a beautiful book bought by my wife on the history of shepherd huts, after over 35 years in the building industry and having a strong passion for carpentry, I decided to follow my heart...
Thats when I came up with the idea to produce high quality, hand crafted huts for people to love and make unforgettable memories in.

Farrow & Ball Paints
We use Farrow & Ball paints externally and throughout all of our designs, only the best quality for our huts! We tend to use natural colours to blend in gracefully with the countryside.
Wooden Double Doors
Beautiful double accoya double doors to enter the shepherd hut, painted in Farrow & Ball paint and finished with black ironmongery.
Solid Wood Flooring
Using solid oak flooring creates a sense of warmth and fits in with the natural aesthetic. Although...each shepherd hut is unique so we are happy to change the wood flooring to meet your bespoke tastes.
Sheep's Wool Insulation
Using natural sheep's wool to insulate our shepherd hut's is the perfect choice, harnessing the natural insulating properties of sheep's wool ensures optimal thermal efficiency and sound absorption.
Log Burning Stove
Each hut is supplied with a classic log burner made in the UK, along with a solid granite hearth & surround.
